Editorial Standards
Indeeed Monitor is committed to accuracy, transparency, and reader trust. These standards govern how we research, write, and publish every report on our site.
Source hierarchy
We prioritize primary government data — Bureau of Labor Statistics releases, Census Bureau surveys, Federal Reserve economic reports, and Congressional Budget Office projections. Peer-reviewed academic research and established think tank analysis supplement these foundations. Industry surveys and corporate disclosures are used with appropriate caveats about methodology and potential bias.
Fact-checking process
Every article undergoes a two-stage review before publication. The primary author verifies all statistics against original source documents. A secondary editor checks claims, dates, and contextual framing. When data is preliminary or subject to revision — as with monthly payroll figures — we note the provisional status explicitly.
Corrections policy
Errors are corrected promptly and transparently. Material corrections receive a dated note at the top of the affected article. Minor typographical fixes are made without annotation. Readers who identify factual errors should contact [email protected] with source documentation.
Independence and conflicts
Authors do not accept compensation from organizations they cover. Sponsored content, when published, is clearly labeled and does not influence editorial coverage. We do not publish paid placement disguised as independent analysis.
Language and accessibility
We write in plain English accessible to non-specialist readers while maintaining analytical rigor. Technical terms are defined on first use. We avoid sensational framing and present uncertainty where data warrants it.
Geographic scope
Unless otherwise noted, all analysis refers to the United States labor market. State and regional comparisons use consistent federal data definitions to ensure comparability across jurisdictions.
